About this product
The Acer XV 7 Wood is a right-handed men's fairway wood with a 21° loft, regular flex graphite shaft, and standard lie angle. It features a black color, mid-high launch and spin, and a mid kickpoint. This club is new, comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty, and is classified as a tour club. It is designed for golfers seeking a versatile fairway wood for approach shots and long par 3s.
Our take
This 7 wood is a straightforward option for golfers needing a high-launching club to hold greens. The regular flex graphite shaft suits moderate swing speeds, and the mid-high launch/spin profile helps with stopping power. It's a new club with a warranty, which is reassuring. However, the Acer brand is less established than major OEMs, which might concern some. The 21° loft is typical for a 7 wood, making it a good choice for those who struggle with long irons. Overall, it's a practical, no-frills fairway wood.
